Abstract
This research investigates the role of government-sponsored scholarships in promoting access to education. In a period of rapid globalization and rising educational competition, government-sponsored scholarships play a crucial role in empowering historically marginalized and economically disadvantaged groups. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative analysis drawn from secondary sources with qualitative evidence, which was acquired through interviews with policymakers and beneficiaries. Descriptive statistics and inferential procedures bring out the link between scholarship availability and enrollment patterns. Findings from the studies show that government-sponsored scholarships play a compelling role in promoting access and persistence in higher education, leading to long-term socio-economic advancement. Policy, practice, and directions for future research are explored.
